Why "One Reaching Hand"?
We believe that a song, a lyric, a piece of art shared with vulnerability and intention can be like one reaching hand that lets someone know they are not alone as they go through challenges in life that can often be isolating.
The Heart of it...
For a musician, it can sometimes feel like another song might not make a difference in the sea of music available in the world. One Reaching Hand believes every person has something meaningful and unique to offer, right where they are and with what they have in their hands that can meet a need and bring hope and healing.
Though it was birthed from experiences of sharing music in hospital settings, One Reaching Hand has seen the power of mobilizing musicians in a variety of community settings.
